Hand-formed using traditional Sejnane pottery methods in northern Tunisia, Zerka is the primary plate within the Artisan Ceramic Tableware collection.
 
Its geometry allows dishes to spread naturally while still containing oil, sauce, and mixed textures.
 
This balance makes the plate suitable for everyday meals as well as composed dishes.

    Zerka uses a containment plate structure.

     

    The plate features:

     

    • A flat central eating plane

    • Walls that rise upward from the base

    • A rim that flares outward at the top

     

    This geometry creates a controlled interior space that contains liquids while keeping the plate visually open.

     

    Although the plate measures 27 cm at the rim, the usable food surface is slightly smaller because part of the diameter forms the rising wall and flared rim.

     

    This structure allows sauce and oil to remain contained without turning the plate into a bowl.
